How to Check In Assets in Bulk

There are a few ways to bulk check-in assets in the Reftab platform. This guide will show you three of the most common ways to update your loan records.

How to Bulk Check In from Assets Page

One of the easiest ways to return or check in assets in bulk is from the assets page. Click “Assets” from the navigation bar. Then, use the check boxes to select the currently checked out assets that you want to return. Click “Bulk Actions” > “Check In

Using the Loans Tab

Another way to return assets in bulk is from the loans page. Head to the Loans tab and use the checkboxes to the left of the loan record you are looking to check in. Notice, that I have filtered for the Chrome Books category.

If all items are in the same Category, Location, etc. this would make this function much easier for you. A little tip here, when changing between categories, we do store your selections. This means you would be able to select two Chromebooks from this selection, filter for another category, and select two items. When you check in it will be all four assets chosen.

After choosing the correct assets, you will be prompted to either check in or request verification. You can simply click check-in and all assets will be pulled back into your inventory. 

Bulk Check In from a Loanee

The same options are given from a single Loanee if you are checking in all assets from one user:
